in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I looked in the box below the tanners shop and there was just some GP in it... not sure where to find the Gesen Shortbow shaft...

    Gesen Shortbow Shaft is supposed to be down here (lowest floor of tanner house) in the southest box

    There are three boxes there, checked them all I suppose? And it is two floors down from where you enter the house. If you still can't find it, it might be a bug.

    OK I will have to forcibly enter the house then lol, I thought it was outside that is what the description on the sorcerer's walkthrough said
