Enabling Debug Mode 1 on 8.1

I really can't get BG2EE to activate the Debug Mode 1 command. I've found the ini file, and knew how to use it when it was just BG2 like 15 years ago. However, I cannot get it done right this time. Are anyone able to provide a screenshot with their own wordpad document? Might be putting it in wrong.
Attached is a, bad, paint document of what mine is currently resembling.

You used to have the line "Debug Mode = 1" under the [Program Options] section of the ini file.
Now the correct line is" 'Program Options', 'Debug Mode', '1', " anywhere under the INSERT sql statement. You should have many other lines starting with Program Options in your file.
One more point to check : the last line (before the final paranthesis) does not end with a comma.

You type it in as " 'Program Options', 'Debug Mode', '1', ", with spaces, and not tabs. Does this make a difference? I have put it in like " 'Program Options', 'Debug Mode', '1',.

Ooookay, so it refuses to accept the tab command in the forums. Neat.

I figured it out, had to save it in a different format. All working now, can bring up the console too. Thanks for the help
