Amaunator, because he (might) be three gods in one!
Amaunator is actually revealed to be an older manifestation of Lathander...or was it Lathander is a manifestation of Amaunator....something like that...same thing really )
I like Tymora a lot. She's a typical adventurer's Goddess. Not the most 'exciting' choice, maybe, because she is quite an obvious one, but I don't like her any less because of that. Also, her conception is a cool story, regarding how Selune tore Tyche asunder etc. etc.
Mielikki is just a nice Deity for me. Though I never play a Druid, and scarcely a Ranger these days. Lurue is just as cool, and they are hand-in-hand Deities, so I grant myself permission to name both :P
Bane is just badass. Not to mention he killed his own son to ascend back to Godhood from death again. Now that's evil /and/ it's clever. You couldn't ask for more!
Shar/Selune I considered saying. I particularly like Shar. But they're both tragically done to death by the RPing community, and have become /too/ commonplace for me. Shar is at her best when Viconia is talking about her anyway. :P
1. Torm (Simly because his weapon is a greatsword) 2. Bahamut (It's a dragon with Paladin followers and he's allied with Torm) 3. Helm (I'll admit his has a very strict set of rules but he still sticks to them and does his job)
The So Close but So Far Runner Ups: Selune (Rangers), Mystra, Lanthander, Ilmater, Tyr (at least 3 of this list are dead in 4e =( )
Mystra: Magic, plain and simple I love it. Tempus: I just love the fact he has he warriors sing to him as they fight, case and point Wulfgar. Moradin: Dwarves...nuff said.
Oghma - because knowledge is a good thing. Auril - because Winter is pretty! Lolth - because I like things with lots of limbs. If only there was a squid god...
Ilmater because I'm a nurse and this guy fits me perfected. I'm looking for all lore and books on this guy. kelemvor because I have worked hospice a lot as a nurse. I am a doom guide! bahamut-kick butt dragon what not to like?
1) Selune - Always thought the fact that higher level High Priests sometimes plane shifted to Selune (the moon) and got moon rocks for Holy Symbols was awesome. Also the goddess of wanderers, and I think that appeals to the adventurer in me.
2) Kelemvor - I like a god of the dead who isn't evil for once, and hates undead!
3) Gargauth - Evil god of contracts and if you ever play a Specialty Priest that's evil, he's awesome.
