Wraith Spider Egg

So I found that Egg (Ion Stone without stats) with Centeol and Viconia knew immediately that it was a living wraith spider.
The mage from the shop in BG want's to kill and make a trinket from it, but I wonder, is there another way to bring this egg to full live, like Kilthix in BG2


I think this was added by BG1 NPC Project.

    You might be better off moving this thread to general discussions. BGEE mods is pretty low traffic

    Already got an answer, it will hatch and you have to put it down, or you pay up and get that trinket.
