Bernard attacks [spoiler]

i freed Hendrick(?) and followed him to kill the innkeeper. He was able to kill the innkeeper before I could kill a guard on the stairway. I killed the guard on the stairway after Hendrick finishes the innkeeper. In addition, I still had a beastmaster leopard charmed with me. It uncharmed right after I kill the guard, so I kill the leopard as well. Then Bernard walks over and attacks me. Pretty sure this shouldn't happen. I believe it was the leopard death that caused it. I did not use area of effect spells that could have hurt Bernard.

Party: [dual shadowdancer/mage], Korgan, Minsk, Jahera, Viconia, Hexxat.

    Ok, I replayed the scene and noticed that the innkeeper, name starts with L, is not red when Hendrak attacks him. It is possible that I had my party target the innkeeper the first time, which perhaps set off Bernard. But this still seems wrong, Hendrak is clearly on his way to kill the innkeeper, and you are helping. You should be able to attack without the other NPCs attacking, since Bernard joins Hendrak after the inkeeper's death.
