in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
How long does it take for it to progress after he becomes Edwina?
Never played with him before, I know a mage is suppose to appear, but it's been a few days and nothing progressed.

    Might be tied to things like resting outside, I remember the last time few times I took Eddy along it always happened in the wilderness.

    Quite a long time, @Skie. I'm not sure precisely, but something of the order of 20 days, maybe even slightly more.

    No, it isn't restricted to the wilderness, @Lord_Tansheron, that must have been just a coincidence. I've more often had it happen in the middle of Athkatla, once even in the bar at the Copper Coronet.

    Very possible. I don't take Eddy often, could very well have just been coincidental resp. a result of me following similar progression paths each time.

    Thanks. It finally happened. The gap between getting the scroll and the arrival of the wizard was 15 days in my game.
