Necromancer questions concerning Pillars of Eternity this time!

So, with my dilema of Mage vs Cleric vs Cleric/Mage still unresolved for best necromancer in BG/IWD/NWN/NWN2/Whatever D&D edition CRPG, here comes PoE! With more necromancy problems.

What do you guys think make the best flavorful RP necromancer for Pillars of Eternity?

I'm currently 30 hours or so in PoE playing a Chanter necromancer with the thought of calling spirits to aid my companions and summoning skeletons but I'm getting to where summoning skeletons is almost useless compared to wurms and stuff :(

Aloth I have using ALL necromancy-flavored spells with Necrotic Lance, Chill Touch, and all the life draining spells.

Then Durance is a cool priest with healing/harming and cursing and buffing.

I haven't tried Cipher yet but I know they have soul magic. I need to use Grieving mother.

And then Druids have all this cool decay-themed magic and plauges!

And the Bleak Walker Paladins have Black Magicks with their swords!

What do you guys think make the coolest/most flavorful necromancer class?
Wizard, Cipher, Priest, Chanter, Paladin, or Druid? Or another class entirely?

So far I'm going with Chanter but they don't seem too dark magick-y despite summoning skellybros and Will-O-Wisps.

Also, the story really makes RPing as a Necromancer enjoyable!

Edit: by 30 hours turns out it's 48. Oh my.

Oh yeah, forgot about the cool spell names for Chanter.
    . . .
    Plus they have corpse explosion.
    and frost aura stuff.

Actually yeah Chanter was the my first and best choice.
    Welp. That was easy. XD

What can be more necromantic than a weird bloke in black robes reciting creepy stuff and raising skeletons and phantoms?

    @Vallmyr ,
This is a phrase, not an invocation. Unfortunately this is a kind of exception because the other phrases are not related to Necromancy.
Good luck with your chanter, I hesitated between a chanter and a cipher but I finally chosed an elven cipher and archer.
