It's true, we all dismiss the canon of Baldur's Gate and use our own, it's the game's very nature. (And the fact that what passes as canon is just...bleegh) So I figured what I'd do is share my own telling of the story, because I can
Now a few things I wanna get in the clear now, I take FULL advantage of the fact that the Forgotten Realms are open to changes, so it's not the same world that's shown in game or the books, same locations and all of that yes, but tonally it's a whole 'nother ballgame. So if you're not a fan of some fairly dark themes, this probably won't be the fan-fiction for you.
Secondly, my grammar's not perfect, still on the learning curve with it so I ask that you forgive me when you spot the mistakes.
So with those perfectly acceptable reasons not to read this put out there, here's a link to it XD
