IWD:EE HoW Am i doing something wrong? Trials of the Luremaster - Stairway Cover Will Not Open

I've pulled the levers in two separate buildings after killing a harpy and some unlucky travelers who felt my wrath. I pull the switches and sometimes the door to a basement will fly open and close. I'm unable to descend. I'll post some screenshots
