Has the DRM affected your decision to buy BG:EE?

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition will use a lifetime, server-based, activation-at-installation DRM scheme. There has been talk about releasing a patch to disable the DRM if Beamdog activation servers were to go under, but as with anything, that's not guaranteed. Has the DRM affected your decision to buy BG:EE?

I was on the fence about Beamdog and the possibility of their future shutdown. However, Trent seems like a guy who is very in touch w/ his fanbase. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt when he says he will patch the game to no longer require validation from Beamdog in the event of their shutdown.

We already have a topic for this, this is just fanning the flames for something that will not produce any meaningful data.

The topic is closed unless someone from Overhaul decides otherwise.
