Help - Mazzy dialog bug

Mazzy is stuck in Dialog mode. To the point where she won't even walk -- all she does is say stuff like "How may I assist?", "You need me?", "Sire" and the like. This happens immediately after her dialog with Jan Jansen where she grills him on his shortsightedness for being so enamored with turnips and ends up screaming at him to shut up. I've reloaded, and the problem starts right back up after this particular dialog. I *have* tried reloading, closing BG2EE completely and restarting, and even console CTRL+Y'ing her then CTRL+R her to resurrect but she starts squawking the second I bring her back to life. I even rebooted my computer, but no dice. I have not played around with the INI file (other than to allow console commands), I'm not running any mods, and I haven't used the console commands to change anything (other than my XP waaaaaaay back in chapter 1, since this wasn't a port from BG1).

I've seen similar forums here regarding Vicci and Aerie, but since there's no romance with Mazzy I don't know what's going on.

Any ideas?

    I had this same bug, it's because you have Valygar in your party and a needed dialogue is not triggering. To fix it for now, kick Mazzy from your party and add her again.     i had a bug where she would ask you to join your Party if you talk to her in her house after the fallen temple
    the bug was that all you could say was *yes join me*and you couldnt get rid of her unles you left the area immediately after expelling her
