BG2EE: freeing the Djinn in chateau Irenicus

I am new to EE, but now it seems like the treasure given is different than it was in original BG2.

So far, I've received Aishideena, the Longsword +2 with the +1 cold damage, and a staff-spear.

How many options are there? Are they random? What are the options?

What else has changed in EE?

    I'm not an authority on here but I vaguely remember reading somewhere (patch notes?) that Sarevok's Sword of Chaos, which the djinn used to give, is now held by another creature within Irenicus' dungeon. The items you mentioned must be the replacements.

    If you import a character with one of those weapons, the djinni will have one of them. Otherwise, the djinni will have a weapon chosen for you based on your character's proficiencies or class. Not all proficiencies are represented, but you'll always get at least a +2 something.

    It was prett disappointing when my blackguard got a dagger from the genie.

    As was pointed out you can find the list on page 7 of the release notes. But here it is anyways (with item code numbers).


    SW1H24 (the Burning Earth +1 - a long sword)
    HAMM03 (Ashideena +2 - a warhammer)
    AX1H07 (Bala's Axe - obviously an axe)
    HALB03 (Suryris's Blade +2 - a halberd)
    DAGG04 (The Grave Binder +2 - a dagger)
    STAF07 (Staff Spear +2 - a staff that does piercing damage)
    STAF06 (Staff Mace +2 - a staff that is one handed and looks like a mace)
    SLNG03 (Sling +3 - sling)
    SW1H06 (Varscona +2 - a long sword)
    BLUN11 (Krotan's Skullcrusher +2 - Mace)
