Insane XP -off on HoF?

So does ticking the "no bonus xp in hard and insane" box remove the extra 100% xp that you get from Insane while on HoF mode?

The description is ambiguous as it says that it doesn't remove the bonus xp from HoF mode which it obviously shouldn't but the +100% insane bonus is applied separately I think (and leads to xp gorging).

As a bonus question can you remove double damage on HoF with the other box? (Not that I think I'd want to but just curious).

    Pretty sure that HoF automatically sets the sliders for the extra XP and damage. Test it?

    I did and it seems that ticking the box to disable the extra 100% xp on insane works even when HoF is active.

    This means that you can play HoF and only get half the xp that you used to which is a much more interesting challenge as it really becomes too easy too fast in it's old incarnation.
