Bg2 ee ToB npc spawn

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi I was playing ToB for quite some time and wanted to try out the monks questline. However he was not in my original party when I started the game. Can I meet him in game somewhere? Or do I have to spawn him somehow so he can join my party. Btw I am on an ipad.

    You can summon Rasaad and any other NPC not in your party in the pocket plane by clicking on those statues near the exit.
