Game Crashes when Minimized.

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
When I alt tab out of the game, it crashes instantly.
This only happens when I run the game with my on board graphics card on a laptop with switchable graphics.
works fine on my high end graphics card.

the card in use during the crash is a Intel HD 4600
It's up to date.
