Beamdog + GoG Multiplayer compatibility

Hello everyone!

Long-time lurking but I have a doubt which I hope somebody can help me with...

I have the whole set of EE games on Beamdog and I with the current GoG sale on the three of them, I am looking to bringing somebody into the series. Now, the question is... Does Multiplayer work between Beamdog and whatever system GoG are using?

The main goal of this person getting the games is Multiplayer so I would hate to pay for it only to find out it's not compatible and we can't play.

Quite honestly, I haven't delved into Multiplayer with the Enhanced Editions, even though I used to do Multiplayer in the past. I've checked it out and it seems to use some lobby system (on Beamdog, at least) so I was concerned that the lobbies could be different. My gut tells me Multiplayer should be shared between Beamdog, Steam and GoG but I'd rather know it for sure before buying...

    Yes, multiplayer works between all versions of the game.
