All these views and not one person knows how to do this. But yet people are quick to return a PM to me with typed out stupid comments?

The people on this site are 100% useless.

You can't. You can just let them remain unread. or open them and delete the conversation using the button on the left side of the screen. Since they also appear on your activity page, you have to click on the upper right side of the message (where the "x" appears when you hover over the message) to make it go away.

And, just as an aside, blocking PMs from anyone, even if it were possible, really means nothing. If it's a Moderator (gray background to posts) or a Baldur's Gate Team Member (Blue background to posts) trying to PM you, you are still subject to the rules of the forum even if you somehow *could* refuse to see their messages. Refusing to accept those messages in private just means they will use public posts to tell you, which just means that *everyone* on the forum will get to see your business played out.

PMs are sent in an effort to prevent you from experiencing the shame and humiliation of having *everyone* see you getting a set down or talking to. There is a reason *why* they are unblockable.
