AI Script not working Baldur's Gate 2 EE

When I first started the Bard Controlled worked perfectly for my CHARNAME Bard/Jester. For some reason it stopped. It gives me the option for Controlled and I have it set to "Sing during combat" But as soon as the fight starts CHARNAME runs in. My AI is on. The Thief AI works perfectly on Hexxat and from what I can tell everything else on the other NPCs work.
I went into the script folder and the Bard was the only one with only one script under it's name (bard0.BS) the rest have 3-4. If this is the problem is there an original script folder I can get to put in?
