So what exactly happened in the ending of the Neera romance? *Spoilers*

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
So did she just get up and leave you pretty much or was there a reason to why she did that? I also remember that earlier in the game she left someone else she was seeing back at the sword coast because she said "I know it couldn't go on" or something along the lines of that. I'm wondering if that part has anything to do with why she just leaves in the ending. I'm just curious to see what you guys think happened because I really enjoyed the romance in the game and it kinda sucks since it seems like she just leaves you just like that and moves on, and the only reason why you know her destination is because you know her so well.

    I never got the feeling she left you or broke up. You are just so close that she doesn't even have to tell you where she went. You already know and can follow when needed.

    And the place is for you and your imagination to figure out.
