Neera/Adoy Questline

Right I have scoured forum for solution to this. I have done the quest, I even got XP but my journal never updated and I am so much further now I am wondering if there is a way to trigger the journal entry and completion of quest. Or perhaps reset area to do the fight again. I would rather not have to start the fight again and this all happened because during the fight Neera died... I did not realize her dying broke the questline so hugely, but it does... and now because of this things are in limbo, she's got the belt I identified it, but she never spoke to Adoy after he changed back.

If I need to got right back to first autosave I had which was before I did most of everything, I will grudgingly, but being I am already in Baldur's Gate and would rather not have to do it all again for this one quest, I have to ask is there a solution to my woes? Or must I instead quit complaining and just go through it all again and do the quest once I get it until Neera survives?
