Animal Rage - (A)D&D source?

I have been doing some updating for my SpellPack mod lately, which seeks to bring spells from BG2:ToB/BG(2):EE/IWD:EE closer to the AD&D rules they were. With more than 100 components, the mod is not yet compatible with any of the EE games, which is set to change for the next release. I have been plowing through and refining each component, and one of those components is the 5th level priest spell "Animal Rage".
I noticed some spells in BG2/IWD are not taken from 2nd edition AD&D but rather later editions, and one of them is "Animal Rage". It doesn't seem like a 2nd edition spell, as it's not listed in vol.1 of the Priest Spell Compendium. Neither have I found anything in the 3rd/3.5th edition rulebooks. Later editions were not yet written at the time of IWD's/HoW's making back in the day.
Does anyone have some background info where this spell comes from? Or is this spell completely invented at the time of IWD's making? Thanks for any and all help.

Another fun fact: I was able to locate the AD&D version of the 5th level spell "Righteous Magic", which is called "Right of Might"-an "Old Empire" spell and is on page 507 in the Priest Spell Compendium (vol ii).
