Transferring your current bg1 party to bg2?

This is something I was curious about because when I imported my bg1 character from bg2 I was a bit disappointed that my current party didn't get brought in. I had to be stuck with Minsc, Jaheira, and Imoen. Imoen I guess I could understand since she shared your bhaal essence but including the 2 other party members whom were in your party in the previous bg should happen because it makes sense storywise since you had that party in bg1, you should have it in bg2.
In bg1 my party members were all the evil characters: Shar-teel, Montaron, my evil mage, Viconia, Edwin, and the evil bard (I can't remember his name T.T). At the very least, the bard and Shar-teel could make it in as party members. Even though I think it is going to be alot of work to implement this true but they are enhancing the games, not making new ones so there could be plenty of room for working on this imo. Anyone else agree?

Though I think @TrentOster has said they are definitely not returning in BG2. For the most part I think that's fine because having all of them return would be too much, but I can't help but think maybe there's an argument for looking at maybe including one or two who didn't already cameo in BG2.
Though I wouldn't have them at the dungeon because it would take too much work to re-balance the game in that section not to mention the changes to the story which Beamdog just can't do.
At the very least I'd just like a bit of a prologue (or perhaps a DLC addition to BG:EE) that sets up why you are with that party and at least acknowledges your actions of BG1 a bit more.
