Adrian NPC: Help on character quest

I've triggered the quest made for Adrian, except I can't get it moving! We met Tanya the blackmailer, paid her off, and my journal says search for where she's hiding/residing. Google search led me to Five Flagons Inn at the Bridge, asking the correct people, but when I go upstairs to find her in the first room on the left (as the halfling says), there's no one there. No one on the entire floor save for the NPCs already there. I've tried the CreateCharacter in which case she pops up but you can't talk to her or trigger continuing the quest. Am I meant to wait until she pops up after the tenday...?

    She isn't supposed to be there yet, you are supposed to find her journal in a container in that room, as far as I remember.

    Sorry for resing an old thread, but I can't even get his personal quest to trigger. What do I do to trigger it?

    I figured out the problem - Adrian has a talk on rest after leaving the beginning dungeon that never triggered for me.
