Can I use EE Keeper to edit an online Character?

Hi I am new to these forums, but am a veteran player of BG:EE.
I hope I made this discussion in the right place, since technically it is a modding question.

But anywayz, I was wondering if I could use the EE Keeper to edit my female Elf Fighter, to make her a Drow?
And will other players see her as a drow, and not an Elf?

Last question, is this "okay" to try and mod my online character? I am not going to mod her skills, just change her appearance.

P.S. Ilimaris_Wild-Fire, if you are reading this, sorry I stole your name and picture, but I fell in love with the both o' them! :D

What?! You dirty little sneak-thief, you! How dares you steal thy name! But alas, I am humbled you are envious of my name. I take no credit for the picture. It is from artastrophe's PaintBG portrait pack.

To answer your question; yes you can.

    -Just start a character

    -save em'

    -quit the game

-Then load up EE Keeper, edit the char then save it. (please, try to be fair, and not edit anything too much)

    -Load backup the game

Now everything should be fine, and the players will even see your NEW character!
I know because, I just went through the game as Drizzt!

  • Oh thank you SO MUCH dear! I will go try immediately!
