For the first, I have finaly decided to roll a pally. My question is about profiencys. Is a that famous, paladin only sword a long, bastard or great sword?

    It is a Long Sword. Luckily there are a lot of nice long swords to tide you over until you get to the really big one ;)

    There are enough good long swords to equip two characters who invest in that proficiency.

    My last game featured a dwarven Barbarian who would dual-wield long swords of action +4 to make something like 5 attacks per round. Korgan who?
