The description says, "Immunity to charm, domination, entanglement, hold, paralysis, sleep, and web."
If you look at the equipping effects, it shows Protection: Immunity to Spell [318] for spwi305 (which is haste). This is supposed to be spwi306 (which is hold person).
For anyone that wants a temporary fix, just drop the revised gvalor.itm file into your override folder.
