*spoilers* Rasaad won't rejoin?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hello everyone! This is my first time posting here after some lurking :) I've played the original BG1 and 2 before, playing the enhanced edition for the first time, and I have a question.
So, I've finished Rasaad's quest and he left the party to rebuild the temple and won't rejoin. Is he gone for good? And if so, will I be fine if I just ctrl-Q him back? I kinda wanted to see his romance...

    I think he's gone forever (can be used again in tob though) if he stays in the temple.

    To make him stay with you and the group you have to pick the right choices in the conversations with him. Then he will stay.

    Btw I personally like his romance. So you should get an old save to alter his future.

    Yes but it's you who can convince him to take different paths depending on dialog choices.

    Just convince him not to turn his back on selune and have faith in him
