Picking up stacks of 100 or more items of a type should not hide parts of their number

As seen in the screenshots, only the last two digits are shown when you pick up stacks of 100 or more items of a type in the inventory. Only a small number of items are affected. I've noticed only bullets and potions so far. Changing Graphics options (UI scaling, cursor size, tooltip size) has no effect.

All Enhanced Edition games (BG:EE, BG2:EE and IWD:EE) seem to be affected.
