Source for News?

Seeing as how I'm holding off on playing BG:EE until I can safely install "Unfinished Business", BG1NPC and the Tweaks pack, what's a good site to find the latest news on updates to WeiDU and mods? How will we know when they're made compatible with the EE?

This page http://www.weidu.org/ contains the lastest version of Weidu (scroll down to the bottom). The readme is available from a link.
This page http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/board,50.0.html is the official home of Weidu.

As for the mods, it's going to mean trawling the various modsites. The three English-language sites that seem to me to contain the most active communities (and so the largest number of mods) are http://www.spellholdstudios.net, http://www.gibberlings3.net and http://www.pocketplane.net.

@Yovaneth I'm curious if there's any interest in making this forum a hub of modding news. Obviously, it wouldn't be appropriate for hosting files, but could serve as a meeting place for those 3 different sites you mentioned.

There is actually an IE Modding Newsfeed which works exactly as you describe. It's aggregated on SHS and many other modding websites, and has its home on the excellent G3. You can find it here: http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showforum=71
