Melissa, smirking, revealed that her name was really Amy; shocking news! Oh yes, she also intended to usurp Dad's throne. MC snidely informed her that she was going to undergo another name change in the near future, to "Dead Meat".
The fight with Sendai was sort of a preparation for this one. Sendai had to be defeated 7 times, Amy only took 4 beatings, but as compensation, she got to summon a whole bunch of nasties to serve as foot troops. There were other constraints, in that MC's crew couldn't rest between bouts. It didn't help her at all; she got totally steamrollered. Her most potent summoning was a fallen Solar and some demons, which were countered by a Planetar, a golem and a couple of earth elementals.
MC's pack rat attitude had been active from Ch 1; the group had amassed 144 potions of superior healing, 200 or so extra healing and 100 antidotes, There were 3 potion cases and 3 scroll cases, all packed to the brim, and 3 bags of holding stuffed with spare weapons and suits of armor. Given the fact that only Hexxat used anything other than healing potions during the extended fray, this was pretty much a wasted effort, but if a need HAD arisen for some esoteric potion, they would have been covered. Can you say "too much gear"?
Down 4 falls out of four, a Solar arrived to count Amy out. Scratch one deity wanna-be. MC was offered the choice of renouncing all claims and becoming mortal, or ascending to the ranks of the gods. "Whatta you, nuts? Toss over the keys to the Throne room, son." And so, yet another deity arose to interfere with mortal affairs.

Seems a bit odd; a time travel adventure, perhaps? MC travels back in time, meets younger self ... maybe tells younger self to sod off.
(Sorry, seeing the acronym SoD I just HAD to make a sodding joke out of it)
And it is, of course, a separate game. Is it available yet? And what pricing? I haven't really been keeping up with that particular forum folder.
