Cannot Summon Planetar, Deva Anymore Help

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I am in the the room that has the final seal at Watchers Keep and I keep getting the message that I cannot summon anymore creatures even though none are there. I can summon the Earth Elemental, and Fiend but not any Devas or Planetar. I went outside and the spell worked. Any idea of what is wrong? I am opening the final lock and need all the strength I can get.

    Yes, I do remember someone getting mazed many games ago. Thanks I'll try your suggestion.
