Contingency/CC

At first I planned to wait for BG2:EE to talk about this bug, but it may be possible to see Contingencies even in BG:EE, who knows... :p

So, the problem involves the few seconds you have to wait before those spells trigger.

I managed to solve the problem by installing a mod (can't remeber if it was SCSII or another one), so that when I put the game in pause and use a contingency it immediatly triggered (within the right conditions, ofc)

I know how there's a pause between them, but I never thought it was a bug. It kind of makes sense, they're just preparing the next spell.

It would be useful if it was continuous, then I wouldn't have to pause before I cast the next to save their effects. But I don't think it should be changed.

I don't see the point of waiting since "you are not casting those spells", you simply store them till they trigger.

Plus, I find very annoying the cast animation (the one with the white magic dust falling on the ground) after you use a contingency. This animation will, almost ALWAYS, interrupt your next spell.

I don't see where is the bug, in BG/IWD/PST/NWN a caster must wait some seconds before cast another spell.

you simply store them till they trigger.

Like in NWN2... But it's a request, not a bug.

    Ye, you're right.
Can someone move the thread to Requested feature?
    Maybe @AndreaColombo?

I'm no moderator. @Bhryaen could, though.
