    I don't know, teasing Bards is funny. I almost put just 'bardic lore' on the option.

    Ya I was sad to see lack of pallies and rangers.

    Honestly though it was already a tossup between Bard and Cleric. In the end I sided with magic missiles+Fireball, elven chain and a good longsword. It's funny as I've grown older I've come to appreciate Bards and Clerics more and more.

    Still a Paladin/Ranger/Fighter 3e Multiclass at heart though >< (Not this is also a great way to play IWD2 'hardmode' as a main character.)

    If it comes down to pure spellcasting, divine spells all the way. I love a portable temple that heals you for free, although you'll lose a party member slot, but for the divine spells alone it's all worth it.

    Multi-class fighter/mage for BG and multi-class cleric/mage for IWD.

    Cleric all the way. Divine Spells become very powerful at higher level, and healing is always useful.

    Most of the times my Charname is bard or cleric... Hard to choose... I pick the cleric cos he can wear all type of armor.

    Not dual-classed, but multiclassed. But if I had the chance to be a multiclass sorcerer, I'd probably be one.
