cannot create a new save game

I cannot create a new save game since I updated to windows ten. I have deleted all local content and it did not fix it, any ideas?

The Windows 10 upgrade process sometimes sets your documents to read only, pull up your documents folder properties and uncheck read only. I can't remember if it asks you to apply it to subfolders and files, if it does, click yes.

I did this and after wards i open up the properties again and its set to read only again

It's a windows 10 issue, not a BG issue. You'll find you cannot create a save game for any game which stores them in the My Documents folder.
