How can i raise the cap from 161000 XP to 250000 XP when i am using LINUX Ubuntu ?

I mean Baldurs Gate 1 - Enhanced Edition, not BG 2 !

How can i do it when i am using the Linux - Version of the game ?

I need some kind of comprehensive tutorial.
