Can't load any save with IWD on win 8.1

in IWD:EE Bugs (v1.4.0)
Every time i save and after that load it ,it keeps on starting from the beginning(the scen in which the chosen party is at the tavren of the easthaven) and Always like that,even though when i save it seems to save it properly;but when i go to load it it Always begin from the first scene(like i'v never played it before)

any hints on how to solve?

IWD 2 doesn't give any issues of that kind instead!
