Trouble with Character Record Kit Descriptions

Hello, I am trying my hand at making a kit mod for the first time and I am having trouble with getting the Kit Description button on the character record screen to display my kit's actual description and not that of the base class. I used WeiDU's ADD_KIT function with fl#add_kit_ee to add the kit to the game. The string references in both the "DESCSTR" field of CLASSTEXT.2DA and in the "HELP" field in KITLIST.2DA both appear to correctly point to my new kit description. There must be some field that I am missing in a 2DA file somewhere. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
