[Kindle] IWD will not download and install from the app stor

I bought the game from the kindle store and it downloaded the initial launcher just fine. However when I launch the program after its installed I get an error message that "the apliccation must connect to the internet when running for the first time. Check your connection and try again." I am connected to the internet the whole time and am not sure what is causing this. I have deleted the local content from my device and reinstalled the launcher twice with no luck.

    Forgot to mention that I also have a notification on my kindle that says Icewind Dale is "looking for resources to download".
