Gaining full HP on level up - even though I play on hard settings?

Hey!

I just discovered that I gain 6 hitpoints every time I level up, even though I am playing on a core rules/hard setting. Why is that?

I have imported my character from the first game into the second. Maybe there's some sort of bug by doing that?

Anyone noticed this before?

    It's an ini setting that has the wrong default value. You can change it manually.

    Yeah, Beamdog implemented a .ini option to get maxHP on level up on any difficulty.
    You can modify that by editing the baldur.ini file (works with notepad), you should find a "maximum HP" "1" line.
    Change the 1 with a 0, and you'll role HP on level up as per the D&D rules.

    Were do I find that ini-file then? I cannot find anything that's a "baldur.ini" file... :sweat_smile:
