Berserker with no rage?

in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.3.2064)
I'm running the Linux Steam BG2EE Shadows of Amn, created a new character, and he doesn't seem to have rage, but he does have vampiric touch and cure light wounds. Is this a bug and is there a way to fix it?

    they only way that I can see to fix it at this stage is to use EE keeper and add in the beserk ability to your special abilities, you should have 2 beserks at level 7 and 3 beserks at level 8 I believe
