Also, does multiplayer suggests that we have to play all the time together? Can a party advance further in story without all the original players online?

For those of you who have posted with no reply back, if you're still interested reply just one more time. I'd rather start from BG1 and import into BG2 but I'll take one for the team and just start at BG2 if that's what you all are interested in.
