A concept that just won't stick

I've played games at least one from each of Blizzard Entertainment's triumvirate of prominent franchises - Diablo, Starcraft & Warcraft. I've also played all existing installments in the series of a licensed video game series set in the world of Warhammer 40,000. That led me to come up with an idea for a massive crossover between the four, made either as a fanfiction (which I'm more likely to actually do, seen as that's something I've been told I'm actually good at) or a variant universe for the tabletop game (far less likely since I don't play WH40k as it is already). It's called "Stormhammer 40,000"; only people who've played Warcraft III or WoW will get the joke in the title. I don't say I made it or created it because I've yet to actually put pen to paper and commit to one path. I keep trying but the details I'm seeking elude me. It's funny, how ideas just come and go from your mind like that.

God, I hate writer's block. I can't seem to write anything anymore.
