Trapped in Hexxat's third tomb quest (spoilers)

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
This the quest after the Leopards Claw one where you come across exploding spiders, a demented djinni, aggressive librarians, various books and a trapped floor before you have to answer questions from a big mouth. At this point I've read the books and made notes (actually I've used the notes that I made last time, which worked) and none of the possible answers to the 4 Hakima questions are correct - I can't get anywhere.

I've got a save from outside the tomb so this isn't terminal, but I would like to get this quest done. What have I missed or forgotten?

    I only did this quest once and my memory is vague, but I think you might need to actually have some book(s) in your inventory.

    @joluv, thank you, I needed the book, problem solved (that'll teach me to go rushing through things with my "Been there, done it, got the T-Shirt" attitude).

    Aggressive librarians? I might just have to take Hexxat on my next run through.
