Icewind Dale here I come

Finally got around to playing Icewind Dale for the first time. I bought the EE version about six months ago but hadn't played it yet. I'm using the default party and game options (core rules, max HP) to leave myself lots of replay value be it more customized party or more difficulty.
I think an interesting journey is about to begin in Easthaven because there's a guy called Hrothgar who wants to have a word with me. I hear he's setting up some kind of expedition.
I'm pumped! It feels almost like the first time I played Baldur's Gate in 1998 :)

    Be careful out there! I hear there are some nasty critters that live in the Spine of the World.
