    My problem with El Capitan is different -- using my legacy install or a clean copy, the app for some reason is marked as not executable because the OS thinks it is a PowerPC executable. The updater itself appears to work fine.

    First, reboot: I've found that sometimes Finder doesn't recognize that a package is executable until finder restarts.

    If that doesn't work, we need to know:
    Where was this purchased / installed from? (Mac App Store, Beamdog, or Steam)
    What folder are you installing to?
    Do you have any of the other games, and do they install correctly?
