@Ward it's the Groke! She is a little like a personification of the Great Cold. She just wants warmth and company, but everything around her just freezes. (it isn't a beak it's a giant nose)

@Khamill He is called Stinky in the English version of the anime, I forget the books.. is that what Bobek means?

check for John Howe, this guy has a great talent !!!! Illustrator for many fantasy books (The Liveship Traders) and movies (Lord of the Ring)

@Moomintroll Hehh...its hard to translate bobek, but the closest i can find would by a dropping:)
Hamster poo is bobek....so in a way, maybe it is related to BG afterall:D
Bobek is the name of Polish cartoon version by the way.

@Seldar John Howe is just amazing, would be unfair not to mention Alan Lee too, when talking about The Lord of the Rings. I was lucky enough to be able to ask him some questions once; all those very fine bits clear paper, did he use masking fluid? "no.. I just left them out." I still can't get my head around it.
