Import old saves

Hello,

I've still got some old saves from the last time I played Baldur's Gate on my PC.

Will it be possible to import them, or at least the main character, into BGEE?

    At first there was hope too, but as of now there is almost zero chance. The developers have commented that so much about the game has changed, that importing saves will likely not be possible.

    Hey guys,

    I was wondering if someone could give a clear answer to that question since the game is already released. I'd really like to continue my 50 hours gameplay on the BG:EE, but if it's not possible, unfortunately, BG:EE is a no-go for me.
