Question about shadow step

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Hello,

I just started playing ID:EE and chose a Shadowdancer as one of my party members. But I don't see anywhere an option to use his shadow step... I started to worry that maybe it's a bug, but maybe I'm missing something or doing something wrong. So how exactly can I turn this ability on? Sorry if my english isn't good, it's not my first language.

    He gains the "Shadowstep" ability at level 5. So if you just started playing, he won't have it yet.

    Once he has it, it will be in his special ability menu: image

    Thank you very much :) In my language version the game says "he gains this ability at level 1" so I was misled by that.
