I had rolled too many stats, for me is no more fun and I EEkeeper them. Sometimes between 80 and 90, few times in the lower 90ies. I like an over the average charname, but not a superman. I never EEkeeper illegal stats, but I min-max, not at the level of having all the relevant stats for a class at max and the not important at 3, but usually my charnames have the best DEX or a point under that and the best useful CON. When my mages (also NPCs) have sub optimal INT they gulp potions before learning spells, but if they forget to do and fail learning I never reload, even if is a rare lev 9 spell. I don't lower the difficulty slider before leveling so a good CON for me is a bonus, and I don't play BG1 and very seldom cheat in the tomes, maybe I did it 2 times.
@FinneousPJ , true, but not of the average stats of the NPCs, that we can assume as average stats of an adventurer or average stats for the good in game balance.
