Narlen doesn't show up :(

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I've completed Baldur's Gate at least 4-5 times (I first played it back in 99), recently got the enhanced edition, and can't get Narlen to show up. Tried everything including the hint on the Baldur's wiki site

Any help would be appreciated, I know you don't get a ton of cash or xp from the missions, but I like trying to do all the quests.
